Eligibility Criteria

Educational Requirements

  • Group A (Assistant Secretary / Academic & Training Posts): Postgraduate degree with strong academic performance; candidates with qualifications like NET, PhD, M.Ed or B.Ed will be preferred.
  • Accounts Officer: Graduation or post-graduation in Commerce/Finance/Accounts, or professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA, MBA (Finance).
  • Superintendent: Graduation in any discipline with solid computer skills and mandatory typing ability.
  • Junior Translation Officer: Master’s degree in Hindi or English with translation experience or translation diploma.
  • Junior Accountant / Junior Assistant: 12th pass with required typing speed; commerce background is beneficial for accountant roles.

Age Requirements

  • Group A: Up to 35 years
  • Group B: Up to 30 years
  • Group C: Up to 27 years
    Relaxations apply for reserved categories as per norms.

Selection Procedure

CBSE will conduct the selection process in multiple stages depending on the post:

  • Tier-I Examination: Objective test for shortlisting.
  • Tier-II Exam: Combination of objective and descriptive sections depending on the post.
  • Interview: Conducted only for Group A posts.
  • Skill/Typing Test: For Superintendent, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant.

Final selection will be based on cumulative performance across all applicable stages.
