OPTCL has announced one contractual position for the post of:
Chief Security Officer (OSD – CSO)
- Engagement: Contract Basis
- Tenure: 2 Years, extendable based on performance
- Posting: Corporate Office, Bhubaneswar with statewide travel
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following conditions:
1. Educational / Professional Requirements
- Must be a retired Police Officer from Odisha Government
- Must have held DSP rank or higher
- Should possess strong experience in:
- Security administration
- Law & order management
- Investigation
- Field supervision
2. Age Limit
- Maximum 63 years as on the date of advertisement
3. Other Conditions
Not eligible if:
- Any criminal/departmental case is pending
- Penalized for misconduct within the last 5 years before retirement
Must have:
- Good physical fitness
- Clean service history
Salary Structure
The selected candidate will receive:
Monthly Remuneration
- ₹35,000 per month (Consolidated)
- In special cases, salary may be provided as “Last Pay Drawn Minus Pension”
Other Benefits

- 10 days leave per year
- No other employment allowed during contract
- No DA or additional allowances
