ICAR CIFA Young Professional-I Vacancy 2025

The appointment is valid up to 31 March 2026 and may be extended depending on project requirements.

  • Emoluments: ₹30,000 per month (consolidated)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following subjects from a recognised university:

  • Microbiology
  • Biotechnology
  • Zoology
  • Fishery Science

Desirable:
Candidates with the following will be given preference:

  • Master’s degree in the above disciplines
  • Experience in laboratory/field work related to microbiology, biotechnology, aquatic science
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications

Age Limit

  • Minimum: 21 years
  • Maximum: 45 years
  • Relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Divyang as per Government norms.

Selection Process

The institute will conduct a direct walk-in interview.
Final selection will be based on:

  • Academic performance
  • Desirable research/field experience
  • Personal interview score

Candidates may also be required to travel to different states for sample collection and field surveys as part of the project
