Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
Candidates must have the required educational background as per the post.
- Warden: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) with at least 2 years of hostel management experience.
- Head Cook: Should be trained in cookery with prior work experience.
- Assistant Cook: Must have practical cooking experience in hostels or schools.
- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: Must have passed HSC (10th Class).
Age Limit
The age limit varies by post:
- Warden: 30 to 60 years
- Head Cook: 30 to 40 years
- Assistant Cook: 21 to 32 years
- Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: 21 to 32 years
Hostel Engagement Guidelines
- All posts are male-only and require 24×7 stay in the hostel.
- Preference will be given to local candidates from Kotpad block or nearby areas.
- Retired teachers (up to 62 years) can also apply for the Warden post.
- Cooks must maintain hygiene and may undergo a live cooking test before selection.
