How to Download SAMS Odisha +3 Allotment Status 2026

Selected applicants can download their official allotment status and admission intimation letter directly by following these simple steps:

1. Open your internet browser and visit the main SAMS portal at samsodisha.gov.in.
2. Click on the “Degree (+3)” option displayed under the Higher Education tab.
3. On the degree admission homepage, select the “Student Login” button.
4. Input your registered Mobile Number/User ID, password, and correct captcha code, then click on Login.
5. Locate the dashboard menu and click on “Allotment Status” or “Download Intimation Letter”.
6. The screen will display your assigned college, stream, and honor subject details. Save and print multiple copies of this letter for campus verification.

How to Check College Cut-Off Marks

The department releases the round 2 cut-off marks (%) simultaneously for all participating colleges:

1. Go to the SAMS Degree portal at samsodisha.gov.in.
2. Click on the “College-wise Cut-off Mark (%)” tab on the homepage.
3. Select your District, College, Stream, and Subject from the respective drop-down menus.
4. Click on “Show” to view the minimum percentage required for selection in General, SC, ST, and other reserve categories.

SAMS Odisha Admission Options: Freeze, Slide & Float

Once you are allotted a college in the second selection list, you must choose one of the three primary processing options on your student dashboard:

1. Freeze Option

Select this option if you are completely satisfied with the allotted college and honor subject. Selecting “Freeze” means you do not want to participate in any subsequent selection rounds. You must pay the admission fees online and report to the designated campus for physical admission.

2. Slide Option

Select this option if you want to take admission in the currently allotted college but also want to keep your options open to slide up to your higher-choice colleges in the upcoming 3rd selection list. If you get selected for a higher choice in the next list, your current seat will be automatically upgraded.

3. Float Option

Select this option if you accept the allotted seat but wish to remain eligible for higher-preference honor subjects across other colleges in subsequent rounds. Like the slide option, you must pay the admission fees to secure the temporary seat.
